One of the most important questions in the post-secondary financial planning is “What are my post-secondary options”?
After identifying the student’s options, we need to determine the payment options (i.e., how much does this cost and how to pay for it).
The most commonly used post-secondary options are Colleges (2 or 4 year), Independent Living, and Finding a Job. Students should take professionally designed surveys (self-assessments) in order to identify their most appropriate option for them. Currently we have 4 surveys designed to evaluate each option.
Upon evaluating the student’s best option, they can then review the financial planning method to pursue that option. For example, if the student has the highest score in pursuing a college path, then they can use the college financial planning which includes Scholarships, Financial Aid and of course filling out their FAFSA.
