Social and Emotional Learning survey

To promote and train Students' Social and Emotional skills (non-academic strength), a data collection method should be used by distributing a survey. The questions in the survey should be relevant to the issue, and easily added/edited by counselors, so that after collecting and analyzing the responses, we can identify the important issues from the viewpoint of students. This process also requires designing a cover letter (landing page). In the cover letter we need to explain the purpose of the survey, how long will it take to complete the survey, confidentiality of the responses, and who has access to it.

After Analysis of the results, we provide that to the counselors/wellness center staff, for the treating and guidance of their students. This should improve outcomes in discipline, mental, emotional, and social health, and positively impact chronic absenteeism.
